SAM-CARE, INTERNATIONAL (Spiritual Awakening Mission) is a medical mission organization which aims to provide medical care as well as humanitarian assistance throughout the darkest corners of the world. Through the vehicle of medicine we provide food, healing and medical care to the sick and poor.

Since 2000, we have maintained a firm base in Northeast China, specifically the border regions between North Korea and China. North Korea is a country with borders closed off to the rest of the world. It has been submerged for decades in what continues to be one of the most devastating famines in history to which there seems no relief. Additionally, diseases such as Typhoid, Diphtheria and Cholera run rampant.

Here at SAM-Care, International, we have built a hospital on the border of North Korea and China to provide food, medical care, humanitarian-aid, safe haven and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Humanitarian work in this politically charged and volatile region is rare and difficult to accomplish, but we remain convinced that God’s loving grace will heal the suffering and comfort the lost!
